How it works

Three steps between you and the margin.

01

Scan

The Screener ranks every tracked product by real flip margin. Filter by category, deals, or scalp opportunities, or search with operators like margin:>40.

02

Verify

Every product has a price history chart, a buy rating, full specs, and the spread across new, used, broken, and refurb. You know the margin is real before you spend a dollar.

03

Flip

Buy-it links jump straight to live listings priced below market. Buy broken, refurb it, sell used. The gap is your profit.

What you get

A trading terminal for hardware.

Price history charts

New, used, and broken price lines over time, so you can see whether today's margin is structural or a blip.

GPU Value Picks Under $300 Used

A former $800 flagship is sitting under $200 used right now. Three other GPUs cluster near $250-300. Here is what each one actually delivers.

Three used GPUs are sitting under $300 in ChipFlip's tracked listings right now, and one of them was an $800 flagship not too long ago. Here's what each one actually delivers for the money.

RTX 3080: the flagship that fell hard

Tracking at $185.50 used, the RTX 3080 is the standout of this group. It shipped as Nvidia's high-end card, and even years later it still handles 1440p gaming without much compromise. 10GB of VRAM is starting to show its age against newer, VRAM-hungry titles, but for the price, nothing else on this list touches its raw compute.

RTX 3080

The Nvidia RTX 3080 was released in 2020. It currently tracks at $186 used. Broken/parts units track around $100, leaving roughly $86 of gross spread for a repair flip.

RTX 4060 Ti: the safer newer pick

At $299.70, the Zotac RTX 4060 Ti costs more than the 3080 and generally performs a step below it in raw rasterization. What it buys instead is a current-generation architecture and lower power draw, both of which matter more to someone running the card for years than to someone chasing peak frame rates today.

RX 6600 XT: the budget-conscious middle ground

Two listings track here, ASUS at $244.95 and MSI at $230. Both sit in 1080p territory rather than 1440p, which makes this the pick for someone building a budget machine who isn't chasing high refresh rates at higher resolutions.

RX 9060 XT: the wildcard

At $270, this is AMD's newer entry, and it lands right in the middle of this group on price. Less used-market history exists on this card compared to the others, so buying it means trusting a shorter track record.

Bottom line

If raw performance per dollar is the only thing that matters, the RTX 3080 wins this comparison outright. If lower power draw and a newer architecture matter more than squeezing out every frame, the 4060 Ti is the better fit. Know which one you're actually optimizing for before you spend.
